"Our institute has celebrated the Golden Jubilee. As we are on the threshold of a major milestone, it becomes an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the noble values cherished by our founder late legendary Biju Patnaik, who had a vision of producing quality technicians from this institute. During these 50 years from 1966-2017, the world has changed,the industrial scenario is changed and some of our former dedicated Principals, teachers, non teaching staff, Alumni and well wishers have lost their lives."

About The Institute
It is the only Govt. ITI of Angul district, with 11 different popular trades and 48 units at present ,having good employment opportunities.This institute is also imparting short term courses like MES programme,CNC programming and training to the land oustees of nearby industries with the help of 46 faculty members and 22 non teaching and supporting staff.
Institute Management Committee:-Our ITI has been upgraded to Centre of Excellence in Production & Manufacturing Sector from 2006-07 session. The IMC of this institute has the Local industrial members like NTPC, INDFAB, SAKTI SUGURS etc with NALCO, ANGUL as Chairman. The IMC supervises all activities of the institute.
